GOALS OF THE INTERVENTION WITH PRATI ARMATI®
1.Stop erosion on landslide material mainly consisting of raw mixed sands with overlaying boulders of various sizes (even cyclopic stone blocks)
2.Stop erosion at the base of stone blocks to prevent them rolling downhill.
3.Rain water channeling through simple trench drains weeded by PRATI ARMATI® that:
avoid expensive works with cemented bricks or other traditional solutions to control rain water

I.High slope gradient, up to 70°-80°, determining strong soil erosion
II.Soil sterility caused by landslide that stripped-off the surface fertile layer
III.Site height (landslide extends between 1.300 to 1.600m above sea level) which implies:
low environmental average temperatures
physiological soil aridity due to the presence of water in the form of ice, therefore not available for plants
Short lasting vegetation season, limiting plant development possibilities
IV.Heavy rainfall causing strong soil erosion.

There is no a standard mixture of  PRATI ARMATI® technical seeds, it changes every time and is prepared according to the pedological characteristics, climate and local vegetation. Quantity and proportions of materials  needed depend on specific conditions of the site.

Technical characteristics of the seeds:
