This is a guaranteed full service, based on seeds of herbaceous perennial deep rooting plants capable to grow on almost any lithotype and climate, contrasting EROSION even on most barren ground types, re-naturalizing slopes, favouring biodiversity and accelerating ecological succession, protecting civil infrastructure and restoring polluted areas.

The PRATI ARMATI® mixture includes technical seeds, natural fertilizers, tackifying agents and soil conditioners. There is no a standard mixture of  PRATI ARMATI® technical seeds, it changes every time and is prepared according to the pedological characteristics, climate and local vegetation. Quantity and proportions of materials  needed depend on specific conditions of the site.

Technical characteristics of the seeds:

  • perennial herbaceous species, many of which are AUTOCHTHONOUS of the different areas of intervention, where you can find these locally;
  • species and cultivars of gramineae and leguminosae;
  • seeds are selected according to the pedological characteristics, climate and local vegetation;
  • if necessary, the technical mixture of seeds can be integrated with seeds of flowers, bushes and trees, favouring a re-naturalization process.

  • the seeds  grow on every sterile lithotype  (compact clay, altered or fractured rocks,  soils polluted by hydrocarbons  and heavy metals, even in concentrations 10 times above the legally permitted limits, lime added soils up to 5% in weight) without topsoil, plastic and natural materials (geonets, geogrids, geocells, geotextile meshes, natural fibre nets, mulch, bonded wood-fibre matrices, and so on);
  • if the above materials are already on-site, they can hide them, increasing their performances and landscape benefits;

  • adaptable to extreme soil and climatic conditions within a temperature range of –45°C to +60°C, resistant within a pH range between pH 4 and pH 11

  • on practically any lithotype and climate, even on most barren ground types: clay, silt, sands, gravel, flysh, lime added soils, granular soil ridges without top soil, and so on;
